I ~ insk. Thechemicalcomponentsoftheleaveswereisolatedbysolventextractionandcolumnchromatography. Thechemicalstructureswereidentifiedonthebasisofphysic-chemicalconstantandspectraldata. Thecon-tentsofkaempferol, quercetinandisoquercetinintheleavesweredeterminedbygradientreversed-phasehigh-performanceliquidchromatographyonAlltimaC18column (5pm, 150 × 4.6mm) withUVdetector, atthewavelengthof360nm. Amixtureofwaterandaceticacid (H2O: HOAc98: 2) andacetronitrilewereusedforeluentAandeluentB, respectively.
