excellent, fine, superior,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], wonderful,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], marvelous, qualified,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], suited, suitable, apt,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], proper,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], capable,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], generous, kindly,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], friendly news Patrick Sharp has found some freedom in the last two games as the wingman of Jonathan Toews instead of centering his own line. Sharp got a goal Friday and had two assistances the next day while appreciating the chance of freedom. You get a little more freedom, I guess, Sharp said. Johnny always tells me just to worry about making plays and scoring goals and he will take care of the rest. That lets you focus a little more offensively. But I still have a job to do for myself. Profootball Talk reports on Adam Schefter’s report on Shanahan’s dwindling options.
Is this really that surprising? Patrick Kane think most people out there, including our posts from Chris Mortenson from ESPN and Mortenson’s response to our Twitter that you can ‘book’ Shanahan to Washington,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], believe that the deal for Shanahan is complete and only awaits the season’s end. There have been numerous reports beyond this one of Shanahan’s staff organization as well. Kane nearly return to action and could return as early as Wednesday but with the Chicago Blackhawks only playing once after Sunday. This will probably happend until the following Sunday. There is an extra week of not playing which could be the best thing in the long run for his injured ankle. Stay tuned as he has been out for two weeks so far. Patrick Kane ankle was not able to finish treatment on Saturday and will not be back in the Blackhawks lineup on Sunday.
He has told the Bills “no thanks,” and Schefter previously has reported that Shanahan isn’t interested in the Cowboys job. (The report came a day after the FOX’s Jay Glazer reported that the Cowboys aren’t interested in Shanahan.)
Schefter also reported on Sunday that Shanahan wouldn’t be interested in the Texans job, since getting it would mean that the Texans would have fired Shanahan’s former lieutenant, Gary Kubiak.
Indeed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we’re told that Shanahan “basically has his contract done” with the Redskins and that Shanahan has most of his staff ready to roll in D.C.
On Sunday, Schefter reported that Shanahan isn’t interested in the Bears’ head-coaching job,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], only three days after ESPNChicago.com reported that Shanahan would be “extremely interested” in the position,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if Shanahan would have “final say” over the roster.
Still,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Schefter didn’t close the door on Shanahan going to Florida, even though Schefter pointed out that Shanahan prefers a return to the NFL.
