Temat postu: said Southfield Police Chief
Whoever killed Khmoro knew the time he would be there and waited for him to empty the trash into the back dumpster. A dark colored GMC Envoy was seen leaving moments after with someone with a thin build and dark complexion behind-the-wheel.
The October sixth killing leaving Khmoro's loved ones hoping someone will pick up the phone and do the right thing.
If you have any information about this murder, you can contact Southfield Police or Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You can also stay anonymous.
"Our heart is really broken. I don't know how we made it here. My family's really devastated. We pray every single day," said Brenda Thweny, another sister of the victim.
Crime Stoppers and Khmoro's family are now raising the reward for information leading to an arrest to $12,500.
"He died right in my arm and he's telling me please speak on behalf of me," said May Khmoro, the victim's sister. "He was a good father and a good brother and a good son and a good friend to all of us."
"We are saying that there's somebody out there that is close to the victim (that) knows who did this. They might even know why," said Southfield Police Chief
Joe Thomas Jersey
. "We want them to listen to the family and come forward."
"We will not let this go unsolved nor the people involved unpunished,"
Joe Thomas Jersey
said.
Bigger Reward in Case of Murdered Party Store Worker
Relatives of 48-year-old Mazin Khmoro, also known as Mike, shed tears as they begged for justice. Khmoro was a husband, father, son and a brother loved throughout the community.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - A week after a brutal murder in Southfield, the family of Mike Khmoro agreed to do something very painful and brave at the same time. They held a press conference with Southfield Police and Crime Stoppers at police headquarters. During the press conference they broke down.
A long time employee of Cronin's convenience store on Northwestern Highway,
NCAA Jerseys
, Khmoro was gunned down in the store's back lot by someone who spent time planning the murder.
Detectives from Southfield Police and other neighboring departments are now joining forces to solve this case. Police know robbery was not a motive. They believe whoever did this knew quite a bit about the store and personally knew Khmoro. A vendetta or a dispute with someone is considered to be a possible motive.
"My brother was the kindest man you can ever find. He helped a lot of people. He never hurt anybody," she added.
