Through the move,outsourcing and globalization, the company aims to cut prices of flat panel TVs by 20% to 30% from the current levels,custom software development, hoping to increase its market share in China. The company makes flat-panel TVs for the Chinese market at plants including its Shanghai plant,Localization Software, but now plans to increase outsourcing to local subcontractors to trim production and distribution costs. |
