I ~ insk. Thechemicalcomponentsoftheleaveswereisolatedbysolventextractionandcolumnchromatography. Thechemicalstructureswereidentifiedonthebasisofphysic-chemicalconstantandspectraldata. Thecon-tentsofkaempferol, quercetinandisoquercetinintheleavesweredeterminedbygradientreversed-phasehigh-performanceliquidchromatographyonAlltimaC18column (5pm, 150 × 4.6mm) withUVdetector, atthewavelengthof360nm. Amixtureofwaterandaceticacid (H2O: HOAc98: 2) andacetronitrilewereusedforeluentAandeluentB, respectively. Alineargradientrangedfrom8% to50% foreluentBover30min,adidas scarpe, withaflowrateof0.6mL · min one. Theaveragerecoveryandrelativestandarddeviationofthismethodwere98.6% and1.57%, respectively. Threeflavonoidscompounds: kaempferol (I), quercetin (Ⅱ), andisoquercitrin (HI) wereisolatedforthefirsttimefromtheleavesofCyclocaryapaliurus (Bata1.) Iljinsk. .
